520			_aPundit Mahadev Shastri Joshi established the Marathi “Sanskriti Kosh Mandal” in 1957.The first volume was published in 1962 and the rest 9 volumes in 1979.Thus it was a great contribution to marathi literature as it contained 12,778 topics and 28973 sub topics. It is very comprehensive. _bपंडित महादेव शास्त्री जोशी यांनी १९५७ मध्ये मराठी "संस्कृती कोश मंडळ" ची स्थापना केली. १९६२ मध्ये पहिला खंड प्रकाशित झाला आणि १९७९ पर्यंत पुढचे ९ खंड पूर्ण झाले. संपूर्ण १० खंडात मिळून १२, ७७८ विषय व २८९७३ पोट विषय हाताळले आहेत. हा ग्रंथ मराठीतील सर्वसमावेशक व परिपूर्ण आहे.
